Evaluater is an in-house application that aims at conduting an objective type entrance
test in the process |
| of recruitment of the
Organisation .The application allows a number of candidates/clients to interact with a
exam server via a |
| login server. As soon as a
candidate registers with the login server,it reciprocates the Object reference between the
client and |
| the exam server so that they
both can freely communicate with one another leaving the login server free to accept
request |
| from other clients also. A
set a questions is picked up randomly from a data bank and the exam automatically
terminates at |
| the end of the stipulated
time and the result is stored in the database for lateral retrival. |
| The project contains two
modules:- |

This module is an Internet application developed on java using Applet.More than one
student can write the |
| exam simultaneously
depending on the following constraints. |
| 1. Validation of the student
can be checked only if the student number exists in database. |
| 2. All the Subjects were
displayed on the browser and one of the subject can be selected. |
| 3.Before starting the exam
an option to reselect another subject. |
| 4.The questionnaire will be
displayed on the browser from the database through the server application. |
| 5.No further questions will
be allowed after the time permits and the result will be displayed automatically. |

| This module is a
stand alone system,which provides the following options. |
| 1. The registeration of the
new student can be added to the databse. |
| 2.Intersion,Deletion,Modification
and Viewing the questions can be done into database Via the server application. |
